Starting From a Simple Frustration
Mem Services began with an observation that repeated itself too many times: families in the middle of loss were often handed a checklist instead of a conversation. Decisions that deserved thought and time were compressed into rushed meetings, and questions that mattered were answered with vague reassurances rather than honest information.
Matthew Dietrich, now Principal of Mem Services, spent years watching friends, neighbors, and members of his own community navigate this exact problem. What was missing wasn't more options — it was someone willing to slow down, explain things clearly, and stay present without an agenda. That gap became the founding purpose of Mem Services.
